Peaches, The Rules, and F. Scott Fitzgerald

So, here we are, half way through August. Where has the summer gone? Not that you can even really call it summer since it rained everyday!! The plan for today is to make a fabulous peach cobbler or crisp. I can't decide, but the peaches smell so good!!! Which brings me to The Rules. The Rules, of course, are The New Rules of Lifting for Women by Lou Schuler. I LOVE this book. Schuler is hilarious and witty and gives great explanations for why we should be doing things the way he describes. I am seriously giving the workout a true go this time. We'll see if I can type tomorrow! LOL However, something tells me that there is not a section in his book where he allows for gluttony peach desserts....... And I finally got the remainder of my English course today! My next read if The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I am really looking forward to sitting down tonight, after my workout of course, and plowing through this book. Only 6 more assignments till I am done!!

I don't remember "The Great Gatsby" too well but I do remember enjoying it when I read it in high school. And the peach cobbler/crisp sounds delish! How did it come out?
